BigRep GmbH and the Berlin-based company Endless Industries have entered a partnership aimed at advancing the “industrialization of large-format additive manufacturing with continuous fiber reinforcement.” Joint sales in Europe are scheduled to begin in summer 2026 with a focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland. International expansion is set to follow in 2027 and 2028 through BigRep’s global partner network in Europe, the U.S., Asia, and Australia.
After two years of joint development, Endless Industries’ continuous fiber technology has been successfully integrated into the BigRep platform. This creates an industrial solution that “economically produces large-format, mechanically robust components with continuous carbon fiber reinforcement,” according to BigRep. At the heart of the partnership is the integration of Endless Industries’ continuous fiber system into the BigRep IPSO 105, which features a build volume of 400 × 600 × 440 mm.
Optimized fiber structure
Endless Industries develops the print head, materials, and software. BigRep complements this with industrial hardware, a global service infrastructure, and an established partner network. According to BigRep, this enables build chamber temperatures of up to 100 °C, allowing for the processing of high-performance and high-temperature thermoplastics. At the same time, the fiber structure can be optimized using the proprietary Akio software platform.
“Large-format composite manufacturing has traditionally been craft based or required multi-million-dollar investments. This partnership removes those constraints. Customers now gain access to a production-ready system for high-strength parts without the traditional barriers to entry,” says Stephan Knopf, CEO of Endless Industries.

Tools, aerospace, and medical technology
BigRep cites large-format composite components made of PETG, polyamide (PA), and PP as potential applications. These include mechanically stressed equipment and lightweight structural parts made of high-performance materials for aerospace, or orthotic and prosthetic components.
Endless Industries is a spin-off of the Technical University of Berlin. The company develops automated manufacturing systems for continuous-fiber composite components, including process hardware, materials, and software. More than 15 systems have been installed to date.
