Formnext Expo & Convention 2024: AM’s global elite set for industry’s next showcase in Frankfurt

Frankfurt am Main, 26 September 2024. While Germany’s own economic situation remains middling and plenty of global challenges persist, Formnext is poised to write the next chapter in its ongoing success story in 2024. As of late September, 820 companies (61 percent of them from outside of Germany) had already registered for the world’s leading expo and convention for Additive Manufacturing and the next generation of industrial manufacturing, which means Frankfurt will once again be the center of the entire AM universe on 19–22 November. Those interested can still secure tickets through the event’s online shop and take advantage of attractive early-bird rates until 22 October.

Formnext – constantly growing range of formats and services

Frankfurt am Main, 30 July 2024. Additive Manufacturing has left its infancy far behind and has become established as a manufacturing technology to be reckoned with across a wide range of sectors. Formnext is the world's leading trade show for the AM world and has continued to evolve along with the industry. Today, almost 10 years after its premiere, the event has become much more than a mere trade show. Not only has the entire industry changed significantly but also the challenges faced by the organizers of Formnext. Their response has been to offer a service that goes far beyond organizing the event and encompasses continuously providing the global AM community with content on the benefits to be gained from this technology.

From Rookie to Ambassador: New Formnext Awards recognize excellence in six different AM categories

Frankfurt am Main, 24 June 2024. The world of Additive Manufacturing is being driven by talented, motivated individuals. They develop new technologies, found companies, and open up new applications. Formnext has therefore developed a new iteration of its previous awards format, the Formnext Awards, in order to raise the profile of these talents and their ideas. In future, the awards will be presented across six different categories, including young innovative companies, sustainable business ideas, and pioneering technologies. Applications are now open and can be submitted at formnext.com/awards.
