Formnext 2024 showcases new approaches to more sustainable, effective, and flexible production

Frankfurt am Main, 22 November 2024. Formnext 2024 took place in Frankfurt from 19 – 22 November 2024. With numerous groundbreaking world premieres and innovations, the exhibition provided crucial momentum for the future evolution of industrial production towards greater efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. Formnext once again made Frankfurt the global center of Additive Manufacturing and the latest production technologies. The expansion of the range of applications for industrial 3D Printing and the emergence of faster, more cost-effective AM production also played a major role. This was evident not only in the presentations by the exhibitors and this year’s partner country Australia, but also in the extensive supporting program of lectures and events.

Successful kickoff for Formnext 2024: groundbreaking technological developments and world premieres shape the future of Additive Manufacturing

Frankfurt am Main, 19 November 2024. Formnext got off to a successful start today in Frankfurt, where, until 22 November 2024, more than 860 exhibitors from among the international elite of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and modern industrial production will be showcasing their latest products and innovations over a gross exhibition space of over 54,000 m². On its first day, the event attracted a large number of visitors, premiered a series of products and solutions along the process chain, and inspired visitors with a highlight-filled supporting program for various application sectors.

Formnext to be headed by management duo as from November 2024

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 7 November 2024. As from 1 November 2024, there will be two managers at the helm of the Formnext brand. Christoph Stüker has joined Sascha Wenzler to lead the world’s leading trade fair for Additive Manufacturing and the next generation of industrial production. Both have been key members of the event team since the inaugural Formnext in 2015 and have now joined forces to continue driving the brand forward.

Formnext Expo & Convention 2024: AM’s global elite set for industry’s next showcase in Frankfurt

Frankfurt am Main, 26 September 2024. While Germany’s own economic situation remains middling and plenty of global challenges persist, Formnext is poised to write the next chapter in its ongoing success story in 2024. As of late September, 820 companies (61 percent of them from outside of Germany) had already registered for the world’s leading expo and convention for Additive Manufacturing and the next generation of industrial manufacturing, which means Frankfurt will once again be the center of the entire AM universe on 19–22 November. With the innovative development "New Pointe Shoe Sole", Sophia Lindner from act'ble GmbH has won the first prize of the purmundus challenge. Winners of the purmundus challenge were honored yesterday at Formnext. Second prize went to Ramon Mañas, Odisei Music SL, for Travel Sax, while Jamie Cook, Henry Neilson, Theo Clarkes, Mark Brown, Jess Lewis, and George Jary of HEXR won third prize with their project "HEXR, the world's first 3D-printed custom-fitting bicycle helmet."

Maximum levels of safety and freedom: Formnext 2021 for the recovered and the vaccinated

Formnext 2021 will be open to those who have recovered from or been vaccinated against Covid-19. The decision was reached by the organizer, Mesago Messe Frankfurt, in consultation with the Exhibitor Advisory Board. The legal framework for this move is provided by the state of Hesse's Corona Protection Ordinance, which allows organizers the choice of applying the German “3G rule” (access for tested, recovered and vaccinated persons) or the German “2G rule” (recovered and vaccinated persons only).

3D-printed security key wins first prize of the purmundus challenge at the Formnext 2019

With his project "Stealth Key" Dr. Alejandro Ojeda from UrbanAlps AG won the first prize of this year's purmundus challenge at the Formnext 2019 in Frankfurt.
