Description
With our Additive Marking DPM Scan Pro (available as mobile iOS and Android app, or Windows-based platform connected with a stationed industrial camera), we enable every user to decode machine-readable Direct Part Markings and initiate processing steps. With open interfaces, the DPM Scan Pro can be connected to our DLM TrustCenter or other third party system via Rest API, MQTT or custom URL. Once the machine-readable surface marking is scanned, linkage to the chosen platform is enabled, and individual parts can be managed digitally by relevant stakeholders.
The mobile solution (app) is also the perfect tool for engineers and service technicians to quickly retrieve and manage parts maintenance data, including material properties, quality assurance certificates, metadata, batch numbers or other custom inputs; it is also a convenient portable solution for spare parts management and digital inventory connectivity.
DPM Scan Pro has three modes:
- Single scanning - scan each item individually and perform multiple functions via the digital interface.
- Continuous scanning - scan items one after another for the rapid logging of component IDs
- Batch scanning - scan multiple items simultaneously to reduce processing time
