Faserkunst 3D: Sensual and Technological – Rethinking Textile Products

20 Nov 2025

Textiles touch us – quite literally. They envelop, protect, and move us. Faserkunst 3D is dedicated to merging this sensory dimension with the power of cutting-edge technology. As a Pforzheim-based studio and innovation partner at the intersection of textile design and additive manufacturing, we are shaping a new material language: close to the body, functional, and aesthetic.

In our talk at Formnext 2025, we will share insights into our work with 3D-printed support and decorative structures on textiles – a fusion that is not only technologically exciting but also opens up new emotional and visual perspectives. We believe that design can do more than just “look good”: it can touch people, change processes, and inspire entire industries.

Our vision is a creative revolution in fields such as fashion, automotive, healthcare, and sports. We develop textile-based applications that are as individual as their users – from ergonomic support systems and breathable functional modules to expressive fashion objects. Aesthetics, comfort, and a deep understanding of materials are always at the heart of our work.

Faserkunst 3D is more than a label – we are an interdisciplinary creative studio that supports the entire process from concept to final application. We offer consulting, design, technical implementation, and prototyping – and work closely with companies, designers, and research institutions who, like us, believe in the transformative power of design.

With this presentation, we aim to inspire, connect, and open up new pathways. For everyone who wants not just to manufacture textile products – but to truly rethink them: emotionally, technologically, and with a future-oriented mindset.
