The ScanFieldMonitor (SFM) was developed specifically to meet the current requirements of Additive Manufacturing machines (SLM or LPBF). The device operates by detecting the scattered laser light on a structured glass plate and is therefore independent of the optical power. No need for an external wiring, nor for a water supply to cool the absorber and even more important, capable of process-oriented measurements all
across the build plate.

Due to its compact design, wireless connection and a novel measurement principle, the SFM addresses all laser-scannerspecific measurement tasks in just one device and enables laser beam
characterization on the entire scanfield. The modern, intuitive LaserDiagnosticsSoftware (LDS) ensures an easy handling and a fast measurement procedure.

The ScanFieldMonitor analyses various process parameters of scanner systems under actual operating conditions. Combining separate applications for various measurement tasks into
a single device cuts down on investments, complexity, and work time.

The Cube M is designed to meet the demands of measuring high power densities in confined spaces. Remote applications up to 2 kW and measurements even in the corners of your Additive Manufacturing machine are its strenghts. Its unique optical front end allows measuring power densities of up to 250 kW/cm² with an angle of incidence of ± 20°. This highly sophisticated optical front end is taken into account during calibration and does therefore deliver the highest accuracy.

The Cube M is capable of measuring multiple lasers of an Additive Manufacturing machine without cooling or interfering cables on the entire build platform. When placed in the overlap of multiple lasers, the device measures the power of all processing lasers without having to open the processing chamber door in the meantime. Testing 4 lasers, for example, is done in less than 4 minutes, making it possible to perform a power check between each build.

The Specialist for Laser Beam Measurement – The FocusMonitor FMW+

Efficient and advanced: Measuring the Focus at High Beam Power
The FocusMonitor FMW+ is a scanning diagnostics system specialized for the analysis of continuous wave laser beams with low up to high laser beam powers. It is used for the analysis of laser beam sources for laser material processing in laser beam welding, cutting as well as surface processing.

As a perfect measuring instrument for focused beams, the FocusMonitor FMW+ provides all relevant measured values with highest accuracy. In addition to the geometric dimensions of the focused laser beam, the focal position in space, the beam parameter product and divergence
are determined.

This compact version of the proven FocusMonitor features new electronics and an absorber for laser power up to 1 kW. Both NIR and CO2 laser radiation can be measured. For this, it only needs a conversion of measuring tip and detector.

In combination with the analytical features provided by its new LaserDiagnosticsSoftware,
the FocusMonitor FMW+ offers considerably more functionality than ever before.
Additionally to faster data communication via Ethernet, it also allows for semi-automatic
or manual measurement of power density distribution in keeping with innovative standards
for the measurement of beam position and beam dimensions.
