Additive Academy®
Description
The Additive Academy® provides application-oriented knowledge on issues relating to the industrial use of Additive Manufacturing. In addition to theoretical seminars, the training program also includes practical units. The hands-on training take place directly on machinery and is supported by a total of 40 experts from the Fraunhofer IAPT as one of the leading institutes for Additive Manufacturing.
Under the Additive Academy® label, Fraunhofer IAPT has offered successful training seminars to the market since 2014 in the area of Additive Manufacturing. More than 1,500 engineers for customers in the aviation and automotive industries, mechanical engineering, and the service sector have already attended advanced training units.
Seminars cover the complete manufacturing route: design, production, automation and management. The requirement levels of training seminars take into account the prior knowledge of participants. Starter, advanced, and expert trainings facilitate the selection of the right training course to suit individual levels of knowledge. Upon request, the Additive Academy® arranges for customized training seminars.
