Bosch Pellet Printer
Description
Bosch Industrial Additive Manufacturing represents the transition from the promise of 3D printing to industrial reality.
In short:
Bosch Industrial Additive Manufacturing makes pellet-based 3D printing close to series production, economical, and scalable. With original pellets, certified materials, tested performance, and user-friendly software, we deliver the fastest route from CAD model to robust, functional part—today for prototypes, tomorrow for small series production. Visit us at the trade fair and experience the Bosch Pellet Printer live.
In long form:
With the Bosch Pellet Printer, we combine the design freedom of additive manufacturing with the material diversity and cost efficiency of injection molding – ideal for prototypes, functional samples, and small series close to series production. Our approach closes the gap between digital design and reliable production, making additive manufacturing economical, reproducible, and scalable.
At the heart of it all is our unique hardware setup: a dynamic print head with a material-friendly melting unit, optimized for standard injection molding granulates. The result is particularly dense components with outstanding mechanical properties – in laboratory tests (ISO-527), up to 300% higher tensile and flexural strength compared to conventional 3D printing processes. This means you can deliver series-level performance right from the sample part phase.
One key difference: we print with original materials from industry – not with expensive, specially modified printing filaments. Whether flame-retardant polymers in accordance with UL 94 V-0, radar-absorbing compounds, ESD-compatible materials, or fiber-reinforced series granulates: our technology is certified throughout the process chain and opens up real application possibilities, even in regulated industries. At the same time, you benefit from a clear price advantage because standard granulates are significantly cheaper to purchase than typical AM materials.
Our technology has grown in an industrial environment: Bosch injection molding expertise meets a focused team of hardware, software, and manufacturing specialists. This background shapes our commitment to robustness, process reliability, and service—from live demonstrations and material qualification to application support. This turns “just another 3D printer” into a production solution that fits into existing value chains and creates real time-to-market advantages.
