Born in 1982, Alexander Jakschik grew up in Saxony. After completing his studies at the Technical University of Dresden, the graduate industrial engineer began his professional career in 2008 at a mid-sized company specializing in measurement technology. In 2014, Jakschik joined ULT AG, initially taking charge of product management. In the summer of 2015, he and his brother Stefan assumed leadership of the family business as the second generation. Since 2018, Alexander Jakschik has been actively involved on the board of VDMA East. In 2022, he was elected chairman of the committee for the first time. On June 19, 2025, the board members unanimously reaffirmed Jakschik as chairman through 2029.
