Calibur3 is a fast and flexible metal AM process requiring fewer supports and less downstream processing. It features the NeuBeam hot and stable process that creates fully dense and bigger parts in a wide variety of materials.Sitting between SLM and EBM systems, the Calibur3 overcomes the compromises that most companies have to contend with when using metal AM some of which are prohibitive. NeuBeam overcomes many of the limitations for manufacturing large complex metal components, namely no residual thermal stresses, no gas cross-flow, and a much simplified powder removal process than existing EBM systems. It also offers significant advantages over other AM technologies with built-in real-time in-process monitoring, allowing for rapid material development or tuning of microstructures by adapting the solidification during manufacture.
