POSTPRO SF - CHEMICAL VAPOR SMOOTHING
AMT's patented PostPro SF50 and SF100 are fully automated chemical vapor smoothing systems delivering end-use parts for production.
How it works:
Additive manufactured parts need to be surface finished after they have been printed, to achieve the same look, feel, and performance as their traditionally manufactured counterparts.
AMT’s PostPro SF chemical vapor smoothing process automatically smooths and seals the surfaces of 3D printed polymer parts, achieving a surface finish with an injection molding look and feel.
The process works by suspending batches of parts in an ergonomically designed sealed processing chamber, which has a proprietary solvent blend introduced in vapor form in a closed-loop system. The consumable reflows the polymer surface thus removing irregularities and sealing the part. The highly controllable and repeatable process is non-line-of-site and therefore can smooth complex geometries without degrading the mechanical properties.
Enhanced part properties:
By removing crack initiation sites, the vapor smoothing process completely seals the part’s surface resulting in an increase in elongation at break (EAB) with no loss in ultimate tensile strength. The sealed surface makes the parts airtight and watertight, enabling them to be used in highly regulated end-use applications.
PostPro SF hardware:
The PostPro SF systems feature additive manufacturing 2.0 software and hardware architecture providing a fast and efficient user experience. Its compact and ergonomic form factor allows easier operation while taking up less valuable floor space.
The SF series was designed to increase efficiency in terms of potential throughput, thus reducing lead-time and cost-per-part.
Offering 100 liters of processing space, the PostPro SF100 is ideal for high production volumes, whereas the PostPro SF50 has 50 litres of processing space, ideal for lower volumes.
Compatibility:
The PostPro SF systems are compatible with a range of polymers including Polyamide (PA)-12, PA-11, PA-6, Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), TPE-210 elastomer materials, Polypropylene (PP), Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and many more.
It is capable of processing Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), Selective Laser Sintered (SLS), Selective Absorption Fusion (SAF) and Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D printed parts to the desired surface roughness.
Industry 4.0 automation:
Industry 4.0 ready system with the capability to seamlessly connect with external MES and ERP/MRP. systems.
Complies with all industrial health and safety standards:
Proprietary industry-accepted consumables that meet the requirements for highly regulated applications from medical and dental to consumer and food applications. The consumables are non-flammable and are delivered to the customer in quick-change cartridges through an automated ordering system. The user has a choice of consumables depending on their specific processing requirements. AMT does not use corrosive and explosive acid mixes in the machine.

POSTPRO DP - AUTOMATED DEPOWDERING
AMT offers a wide range of Depowdering systems tailored to various production throughputs and delivers precisely depowdered parts ready for surface finishing. PostPro depowdering systems offer a gentle powder removal process that is safe for complex geometries and features an operator-friendly design.
POSTPRO DP MAX
Powered by continuous tumble belt technology for maximum throughput and process and part-size flexibility, the PostProDP MAX is a fully automated depowdering and shot blasting system designed for large component runs and/or use in large batches.
Continuous automated production:
Providing an efficient user and production experience, the cabinet is front-loading at an ergonomic working height with reversible belt controls enabling automatic loading and unloading of parts to and from the transport container, thus maximizing throughput.
Industry 4.0 automation:
The PostPro DP MAX is computer-controlled to enable Industry 4.0 compatibility and can be connected with and integrated with other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a production workflow. Users can program and store recipes and processing parameters making cleaning 3D printed parts more efficient than ever.
POSTPRO DP PRO
The PostPro DP PRO is the solution for cleaning or shot blasting parts hour after hour, eliminating time and cost-consuming interventions in your post-processing chain. It is ergonomically designed and equipped with features to increase your throughput.
The generously sized basket allows for optimization of the blasting angle, cleaning parts fast, while also allowing to easily switch between batches. Once you have found the ideal recipe for blasting your parts, you can store the settings, and reuse them again and again.

POSTPRO DP
The PostPro DP is our affordable cleaning and shot blasting system. It has everything needed to start with your automated post-processing workflow. The machine is robust and is built to last enabling you to be up and running in the blink of an eye and maximizing output for years to come.
PostPro DP is operator-friendly. With the operating panel and basket at an ergonomic height, the user can comfortably load the machine and adjust the parameters.

Engineered for AM:
Equipped with an ionization unit and conductive powder coated cabinet to further reduce static build-up within the blasting process, a built-in cyclone for efficient blast media cleaning and dust separation, and a ventilator system with a high extraction rate to prevent dust build-up in the working chamber. Thus resulting in ‘dust-free’ products with no need for any additional cleaning steps once the process has finished.
Suitable for all common abrasives:
AMT’s range of PostPro Depowdering systems are 3D printer material agonistic and works with all powder-based printer platforms including HP Multi Jet Fusion, EOS, and 3D Systems, as well as a range of thermoplastic polymers such as polyamides and elastomeric materials.
The system can be run with multiple media, such as corundum, glass beads, ceramics, nutshells, plastics, and fine grain sizes of stainless steel and steel. Taking 10 minutes to remove all the powder without damaging any of the parts.
AMT’s range of PostPro Depowdering are CE and ATEX certified and is constructed as one compact unit to minimize the machine footprint and maintenance cost. The system has been tested with customers across Europe and is available now to order from AMT.

POSTPRO SB - AUTOMATED SURFACE BLASTING
AMT's POSTPRO SB is an automated surface blasting system designed to be used with Polybeads for Surface Finishing. The CE and ATEX certified system is constructed as one compact unit, incorporating the blasting area and cyclone to minimize the machine footprint.
System Description
Dual Ionization Unit: The POSTPRO SB is equipped with a dual ionization unit and conductive powder-coated cabinet to reduce static build-up within the blasting process further, thus resulting in 'dust-free' products with no need for any additional cleaning steps once the process has finished.
Anit-Static Applicator: Built-in fully automatic and adjustable anti-static applicator to ensure polybeads, and other media, remains static free throughout the process.
Cyclone: Built-in cyclone for efficient blast media cleaning and dust separation, resulting in longer blast media life.
Extraction: A ventilator system with a high extraction rate has been installed to prevent dust build up in the blasting chamber and improve visibility. The filters are cleaned automatically with an adjustable cleaning pressure to suit different media and applications.
