Based in Boscalto (near Venice), Due Pi Greco is supported by the digital manufacturing partner and 3D printer supplier Energy Group. In its 500-square-meter "AM Lab," it now has more than 10 3D printers with different manufacturing technologies, as well as equipment for post-processing and assembly. Today, Due Pi Greco no longer deals in prototyping alone, but also offers concept design and engineering for the production of functional parts and components in larger quantities.
"Thanks to the technical contributions and specialized support of a digital manufacturing partner like Energy Group, our activities have become more and more focused on Additive Manufacturing," says Diego Pagnan, CEO at Due Pi Greco. "Today, the share of functional components exceeds the demand for prototypes in our production, accounting for 70 percent of our monthly sales. This means we’re now a real industrial company working with 3D printers."
