ColdMetalFusion Standard is an open industry standard around well-established and robust technologies of SLS 3D printing, solvent debinding and sintering. From CAD file the parts are printed on cost efficient & robust polymer SLS printers for high output at low investment costs. As there are no support structures, the printing is immediately followed by powder removal and, if desired, green part post-processing like milling, drilling. For the final metal part, the green parts go through the solvent debinding and sintering steps know from Metal Injection Molding, providing predictability, unmatched geometries and superior properties through low and uniform shrinkage, accuracy of up to 0.1mm and alloy purity.
