Marketplace for industrial manufacturing
PROTIQ is the operator of PROTIQ Marketplace, a platform for industrial manufacturing. On the online marketplace, highly qualified manufacturing service providers offer their services, from additive manufacturing to various casting processes and beyond.
The PROTIQ Marketplace is characterised by its high transparency and reliability: Customers can easily upload their 3D model and compare the offers of the different providers. The direct price feedback also enables the comparison of different materials, quantities and processes - and all this even before logging in.
The service provider marketplace offers many functions that actively support business customers in particular: For example, projects can be saved and shared with colleagues or offers can be independently generated and downloaded. Discover the advantages of the PROTIQ Marketplace for your company now!

3D printing with Zamak 5
Components made from the zinc alloy Zamak 5 are widely found in industrial applications. This material is an established standard for zinc die casting. PROTIQ is the first 3D printer in the world to successfully develop a process for additive manufacturing of the series materials Zamak 5 that overcomes the high time and cost expenditure associated with zinc die casting. Prototypes and small series can be produced at a comparatively low cost per component.
Prototypes and series components through 3D printing
Thanks to additive manufacturing, functional prototypes using Zamak 5 that have all the properties of the series component to come can be produced at very early stages of the product development process. No expensive tools are needed for this, as production is based directly on 3D CAD data.
Pieces produced using 3D printing can be galvanically coated just like conventional objects, for example with the goal of achieve an elegant, high-gloss chrome look. In contrast to zinc die casting, which is worthwhile only for very large series production, additive manufacturing makes it possible to produce individual pieces and small series – low runners – economically.
The standardized, digital processes at PROTIQ mean that these Zamak 5 components will be ready for delivery within just a few business days. Product developers therefore save weeks in waiting times and can carry out informative tests much earlier. What’s more, every change that needs to be made to the 3D model can be quickly and cost-effectively applied to a new prototype, resulting in increased flexibility and considerable added value for product development.

Custom copper inductors
In induction heating, precision-fit inductors made of copper are required for processing different component shapes. Until now, these have mostly been manufactured by hand in complex processes. At PROTIQ Marketplace, we produce your individual induction coils quickly and cost-effectively using 3D printing. This allows you to benefit from reduced delivery times, greater design freedom and a longer coil life.
We are happy to manufacture your existing coil design, according to specified 3D CAD data. Simply upload the coil geometry via the upload button and order the production in just a few steps. Simple coils, for which you do not yet have 3D data, can be easily created yourself with our innovative inductor configurator and ordered immediately. CAD or design experience is not required here. For complex coil shapes that are not represented by the configurator, our CAD engineers will be happy to create a 3D model for you, based on your technical drawing.
