In the energy and offshore industries, managing spare parts efficiently is critical to operational continuity and cost control. Traditional inventory systems often lead to overstocking, obsolescence, and supply chain vulnerabilities. This talk introduces DNV’s new recommended practice, DNV-RP-B205, which provides a structured framework for digital inventories and on-demand manufacturing.
