Implementing the UK Aerospace AM Strategy

Having published the UK Aerospace AM Strategy in September 2024, the ATI and partners are working to implement and deliver the roadmap. We have a clear ambition, to deliver an order of magnitude growth in the number of flying parts, delivered by the UK supply chain by 2030. With one eye on the opportunity presented by next generation aircraft platforms, it is important that AM is mature and ready to be implemented on these aircraft. This presentation will initially summarise the roadmap itself and the key themes and challenges for AM adoption in the aerospace sector. We will then explore the implementation plan, giving an overview of AM activity in the UK both within and beyond the ATI funding programmes. We will explore the opportunities for collaboration both in the UK but also internationally, identifying the opportunities where as a sector we can work together to realise true AM adoption and industrialisation in aerospace.
