AM Panel

Panel: Sustainability

In 1600, William Shakespeare used Denmark as a stage for writing Hamlet. Today, additive manufacturing tech providers and manufacturers are focusing on Denmark as a stage for rewriting the future of manufacturing. Denmark is a leader in renewables use and emissions reductions and two years ago, the Danish Parliament passed the Danish Climate Act, committing Denmark to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This puts an enormous pressure on the Danish manufacturing sector that have seen AM as a valuable tool to create greener parts, processes, and products. In the panel discussion some of Denmark’s largest and renowned manufactures: Grundfos, Danfoss and The Lego Group will join the CEO of Danish AM Hub – a foundation committed to drive the conversation on AM and sustainability forward - in a discussion on how to measure, foster and promote sustainability within AM.

The speakers are:
Thorsten Otte, Director Additive Manufacturing, Grundfos Holding A/S
Niklas Franke, Head of ADM & Production Simulation, DCS, Danfoss A/S
Kenneth Melbye Wedel, Director, AD&M Element Maturing, The LEGO Group
Frank Rosengreen Lorenzen, CEO, Danish AM Hub
