This cold plade demonstrates how generative design can significantly enhance the thermal performance of CPU and GPU cooling components. Compared to conventional TPMS-based structures, a topology-optimized free-form design achieved a 42% reduction in thermal resistance by adapting the geometry to obtain the desired local thermal and flow conditions.

The freeform design achieves 10% lower thermal resistance and 39% improved temperature uniformity, which is critical for managing hotspots in high-performance devices.
